The recent turmoil in Syria has resulted in food shortages for many families caught in the middle of the violence. Although statistics are still unavailable, tens of thousands are believed to be without adequate sources of food and water. Entire cities have suffered for weeks without electricity and other services.
In response to this situation, Life for Relief and Development has launched an emergency campaign to provide food to needy families across Syria. Life has a regional office in Damascus and is immediately mobilizing for this campaign. Life’s goal is to deliver food baskets to 1,000 families by the end of May.
For $150, donors can send a food basket to a Syrian family that includes a variety of items. The food baskets can feed a family of seven for a number of weeks. Please choose one of the following donation options

Although the situation on the ground remains volatile, Life is committed to providing food for the needy throughout the country.
Life’s regional office in Damascus has worked to provide assistance to the Syrian people, and to refugees who live inside Syria. One of Life biggest accomplishments in Syria has been its Orphan Sponsorship Program, which provides monthly assistance to dozens of orphaned children.
Please help Life reach this goal with your tax-deductable donation. This campaign is very deserving of your support so please donate today.
